Globalization and technological development require organizations to adopt supply chain data analytics in their supply chain to enhance their performance and decision-making. This research aims to evaluate Tableau software's effectiveness on learning outcomes in the field of supply chain analytics. Visualization allows students to learn better supply chain management (SCM) strategies. Using the actual demand data during the recent Covid-19 pandemic, we attempt to teach the effect of data visualization techniques on students' analytical skills. To examine students' understanding, we have collected 66 students' surveys in Fall 2021 through undergraduate-level classes. The result indicates that employing the Tableau tool promotes the student's learning and comprehension of demand forecasting. Also, we compared exam scores from fall 2020 and fall 2021, a year apart, to evaluate students' learning outcomes. It shows that students understood demand trend analysis using Tableau. It is important that the concept of supply chain analytics and experiential software tools such as Excel and Tableau. This study examines whether Tableau software impacts students' demand forecasting learning. In sum, students better understand the relationship between data analysis regarding demand forecasting, that is, for supply chain analytics and supply chain management.
